Last Sunday was the second round of CC6 cross country race series at Whitely. Despite a busy weekend Winchester came home with a storming performance from the ladies.

Sunday the 1st October was a busy day for the club with the Clarendon, Wessex cross country race at Canford and of course the second race of the CC6 series at Whitely.  Despite a reduced turnout the ladies triumphed with Kath Bailey coming in first and Charlie Hoskins (5th) and Joy Radford (14th) enabling Winchester ladies keeping their 100% record.  The men provided a solid performance with newcomer Ben RIngrose - Voase leading in the men (14th), Colin McManus (29th), Martyn West (37th), another newbie Leon Jones (53rd), acting Captain Lutz Preuss (74th), Pete Watts (77th) and Rick Munro (85th) another debutante to CC6 fold, completing the septet of Winchester men.
