Winchester's women & girls recorded a remarkable three-timer at Reading in yesterday's Hampshire League fixture.

First, the Under-13 girls went one better than in the last two matches, recording a great win in a tight contest, with Rose Chesterfield (2nd), Millie Burgess (10th) and Ellie McErlean (13th) in the point-scoring places. Then, the Senior Women repeated their victories at Bournemouth and Popham, with India Lee (1st), Mel Wilkins (3rd) and Simone Mitchell (4th) securing a comprehensive win. Minutes later, the Vets completed the treble with their now customary triumph, with Sam Parkinson (1st), Natalie Cain (3rd) and the rejuvenated Emma Carter (6th) ensuring a big winning-margin.

A full match report from Steve Torrance to follow in due course.
