An enormous thank you to everyone who ran the RR10 yesterday. We missed a few of our stalwarts who intend to be back on it next time.

A chilly wind greeted our 17 men and 6 ladies who turned up to run last nights RR10 at Wilverley, though it soon warmed up when we started running.

The going was dry and mainly on gravel tracks in the forest so as to avoid the ground nesting birds. The course was just over 4.5 miles.

The full results are now up on the RR10 website but WADAC did great with our selection of 6 ladies and we were fortunate enough to have Louise Damen (1st), Kathy Bailey (3rd) and Karen Hazlitt (8th) making up our ladies team which enabled us to come 1st again! Followed closely by Stubbington Green. So we retain 1st overall.

The men did brilliantly too with Pete Sansome (6th), Wayne Bevan (8th), James Moore (11th), Julian Mann (14th) and George Belfield (24th). The men finished an awesome 2nd place which brought the men’s overall position up from 7th to 3rd position. Well done chaps! We need you.
