With only 2 races to go in the season; Winchester has it all to play for in the cross country CC6 league, the ladies leading in a strong position and the men are vying for a podium position. Next race on the 18 February at Dennywood, near Lyndhurst.

With 6 out of 8 races complete we are having one of the best CC6 seasons for ladies, and men. The ladies team (best 3 for each race) is in the lead with Southampton Tri club a little way behind.  Individual positions to date place Kath Bailey 3rd, and the top V40.  Suzy Perry closely follows in 5th, Charlotte Hoskins 7th, Emma Carter & Abbey Connor 15th, Caroline Carr 26th, Joy Radford 32nd and topping the V60 category, Isla Allan 53rd and Madeline Vosser 94th.  Remember the best 4 individual placings are required to complete the league.

Winchester men team 4th just behind Romsey.  Top man to date is Pete Sansome 11th and leading V40er, debutante Simon Tarrant is 29th, Colin McManus 46th, Dave Vosser 50th, Steve Oliver 53rd, Peat Allan 60th, Martyn West 71st and second V60er, Stephen Lowy 76th, Adrian Haughton 89th, Rob Bryan 103rd, Steve Cluett 107th, Andrew Robinson 112th, Peter Watts 127th, Rick Munro 137th and Lutz Preuss 146th.  

You positions can go up as well as down.
