WADAC league positions currently strong but please enter the next three races

At the Solent Half Marathon our ladies' A-Team was just nudged into second place by New Forest Runners. However because of the way they crunch the numbers in the league we were actually regarded as having come joint first when it came to the HRRL tables. So after two of twelve races this means that in the overall rankings our ladies' A-Team is first in the A-Division and our B and C teams first and second respectively in the B-Division, all with perfect scores.

Unfortunately some of the other clubs had some strong male team finishers at the Solent Half so our gents were a little way down the team rankings on the day, coming sixth out of the ten teams in the A-Division. Although our gents' A-Team are officially fourth overall in their A-Division they are actually in a relatively strong position, being just one point behind each of the three teams currently above them. Our men's B and C teams reside in the second and seventh slots of Division B.

So with everything to play for the next three races come in quick succession: the Gosport Half Marathon on 20th November, the Hayling 10 Mile on 27th November and the Victory 5 Mile in Portsmouth on 4th December. It is vitally important we are able to further build on WADAC's robust start to the season so please get yourself signed up for these races using the links below. We are particularly short of entrants for Hayling and Victory.

Huge thanks.

Please note that the intention is for the HRRL trophies, mugs and T-shirts for the 2015/16 season to be presented at the prize giving at the end of the Gosport Half Marathon on 20th November so please hang around after the race to receive or support.

Cheers, Saul.
