In a repeat of last year's result, Winchester's boys finished as runners-up, with another excellent team performance.
WADAC sent a vastly reduced junior team to this year's SEAA Road Relays at Crystal Palace, with the event coming too early in their training schedule for most of our Under 13 and Under 15 runners. However, one quartet that did make the journey to South London was Stan Parkinson, Ollie Stephenson, Will Hasan and James Lewis, and although still in the early stages of their build-up to the autumn and winter season, they all produced top-quality runs to finish runners-up to a very strong team from South London Harriers. This was the third consecutive medal-winning performance at regional or national relay competitions for our U13s, and they'll be trying to extend that run in the National XC Relays at Mansfield in six weeks' time.
Also competing yesterday was the U15 team of Harry Harvey, Ben Chesterfield, Sam Evans and Thomas Briggs, who finished in a solid mid-table 24th place.
